LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Olympic athletes have the unique opportunity to train anywhere they want in the world, but several have picked Southwest Florida as their training home.
Inside this hole-in-a-wall gym in Bonita Springs, you’ll find two world-class athletes Daisuke Takahashi and Kana Muramoto getting in one of their many unique workouts.
“It is great because of the level of professionalism that they bring every single day of coming to the facility,” Co-Founder and CEO of Matterhorn Fit Ryan Vesce said.
The pair are considered one of the best figure skating teams globally, with Daisuke winning a bronze medal in 2010 and each already having Olympic experience before barely missing the 2022 Olympic Games.
